Art and Design Practice (Printmaking)
Students have an opportunity for interdisciplinary study under the art or design routes, whilst confirming their research focus and final trajectory. Students are encouraged to experiment, test the boundaries of fine-art practice, work in traditional and digital media, and develop ambitious projects through research, debate and interaction with audiences and communities; students have access to the London Print Studio (LPS).
2.1 Honours degree in a related field; applicants without a degree but with experience can be considered on an individual basis. All applicants are interviewed with a portfolio of previous work. In their application students need to include a short research project proposal. For international students, these interviews may be held over Skype or telephone upon submission of the student's portfolio. English language requirements for international applicants are IELTS 6.5.
Modules include: personal project 1; material creativity; art and design research methods; personal project 2; thesis; personal project 3.
