Intercultural Communication for Professional Practice
This course is specifically designed to suit both full-time international students and part-time employees working in local service provider organisations and businesses. It is specifically for those who wish to enhance their careers by developing their knowledge of effective communication for professional practice with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. The programme offers specific routes for both current and future service sector and private sector employees.
Applicants should have a good undergraduate degree. Workplace experience is also desirable. In some instances extensive workplace experience alone may be considered by the Programme Director as sufficient for entry. International undergraduate degrees are recognised and international students need to have English language proficiency at IELTS 6.5 with 6.0 minimum in writing (or an acceptable equivalent).

Assessments will take a number of forms including reports, group and individual presentations, design of materials, case study analyses and research write ups, reflective commentaries and a research dissertation.
