Applicants should hold at least a lower 2nd Class Honours degree or equivalent. Places are offered subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Core modules: theoretical perspectives on global and international education; researching education in a global world. Optional modules: global childhoods; global edu-business; internationalisation of higher education (transformation and exploitation); development education 1 (issues and challenges); development education 2 (enquiry and impact); globalisation, technologies and education; the global moral environments of education; intercultural learning through study visits; the intercultural dimension; ethics and globalisation and thinking cosmopolitanism.
Assessment methods include a range of written assignments and final dissertation.
