Canterbury Christ Church University
Youth Work and Community Learning and Development
There are 2 programmes on offer, 1 a non-qualifying route for those who are already professionally qualified as youth and community workers and wish to enhance their knowledge and practice base to postgraduate level, and 1 a qualifying route which offers professional qualification for those who already have a first degree and wish to study at postgraduate rather than undergraduate level. This programme leads to full dual professional qualification (JNC recognition) in youth work (validated by the National Youth Agency) and community learning and development (validated by Community Learning and Development Scotland). This innovative course responds to the demands of the field and our undergraduate alumni to produce an enhanced current and critical exploration of youth work and community learning and development practice.
