Speech and Language Therapy
This MSc aims to develop speech and language therapists who are autonomous, accountable practitioners, competent and confident contributing their evidence based profession specific skills and knowledge in the delivery of health, education and social care for users of speech and language therapy services and their families. The course is structured to maximise opportunities for learning how to work in an interprofessional and multiagency context and within a changing workforce. It is a fulltime course delivered jointly between Canterbury Christ Church University and the University of Greenwich. Successful completion provides graduates with an MSc in Speech and Language Therapy and eligibility to apply for registration with the Health & Care Professions Council as a speech and language therapist. This qualification also provides the opportunity to apply to become a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) with newly qualified practitioner status.
