Speech and Language Therapy

This programme is delivered jointly between Canterbury Christ Church University and the University of Greenwich; successful completion of the programme provides graduates with eligibility to apply for registration with the Health Professions Council as a Speech and Language Therapist; this qualification also provides the opportunity to apply to become a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) with newly qualified practitioner status.

Entry requirements

2.1 or higher degree classification in any subject. The interview process will provide students with an opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of, and commitment to, speech and language therapy as a career, and to relate how their previous studies and experiences support their application. Deferred entry is not normally permitted.

Assessment methods

Assessment methods include essays, presentations and assessment of placement education.
