You will follow a course of advanced study and research under the guidance of academic tutors and supervisors. This course aims to develop researchers who are conceptually aware, who can utilise a range of skills and methods, and who, in a multi-disciplinary environment, can practice and develop their own research capabilities, and disseminate that research in a meaningful way.
A minimum of a 2.1 Honours degree. Applications from students with less than a 2.1 will only be considered if appropriate experiential learning can be demonstrated such as if you have been working in a research environment for some time.
Pathways include: Life sciences; sociology; psychology; politics; geography; sport science; tourism, leisure and events; computing; policing and criminal justice; law.
Assessment methods include dissertation.
