Leadership and Management in Healthcare
The course has been designed for experienced managers and leaders working in the field of health within the public, private and independent sectors in the UK and abroad; the pathway addresses health care issues from global, interprofessional, multi-disciplinary, business-oriented and person centred perspectives; it is delivered through a partnership between The Business School and the Faculty of Health and Social Care.
An appropriate Honours degree with experience in leadership and/or management within the field of health care.
Modules include: Strategy; business planning; managing change; leadership for innovation and entrpreneureship; transforming healthcare quality through evaluating outcomes; marketing and service management; critical enquiry and analysis management project.
Progress is assessed on an ongoing basis, through formative and summative assessments taking a number of different forms including debates, written reports, group and individual presentations, and online submissions.
