Forensic Psychology (Practitioner Programme)

The course is designed to be placement based, with 9 workshops for students as well as placement and academic supervision.

Entry requirements

Applicants are expected to have a BPS accredited Master's in forensic psychology (or equivalent); plus extensive experience in a relevant area; a clear, enhanced DBS report; ability to meet the health requirements of their student placement; applicants whose 1st language is not English require evidence English language skills of IELTS 7 with a minimum of 6.5 on each subtest.

Course modules

Modules include: practice portfolio in forensic psychology; consultancy; teaching and training; ethical and professional practice; functional assessment and formulation.

Assessment methods

Assessments is based on case study exemplars, reflective reports, supervision and practice logs.
