Information and Communication Technology Management
This programme explores how information and communication technologies may be managed, and how they may serve the purposes of management.
Applicants should have 1 of the following: an Honours degree at least 2.2 or its equivalent in a relevant area e.g. information systems or business studies with a substantive technology element; 5 years relevant work experience; applicants from other backgrounds are considered on an individual basis.
Modules include: technology adoption; technology project management; technology legal issues; team software development project; business analysis; end user computing risk management; information security management. Plus 1 option from other MSc programmes in the department; in addition research methods for technology projects is undertaken in preparation for the self-managed element.
Assessment is based on coursework, written assignments, presentations and examination.
