This programme explores how information and communication technologies may be managed, and how they may serve the purposes of management. Graduates of this programme will have knowledge of contemporary Information communications technology management issues and state of the art solutions and management strategies.??

Entry requirements

MSc: Applicants should have one of the following: An Honours degree at least 2:2 or its equivalent in a relevant area e.g. Computing, Information Systems or an appropriate Engineering specialism. Applicants from other backgrounds will be considered on an individual basis. Postgraduate Certificate - PgCert: Applicants should have one of the following: An Honours degree at least 2:2 or its equivalent in a relevant area e.g. Computing, Information Systems or an appropriate Engineering specialism. Applicants from other backgrounds will be considered on an individual basis.

Course modules

MSc: The modules associated with the MSc IT Management are as follows: Technology Project Management (20 credits) Information Security and Document Management (20 credits) Team Software Development Project (20 credits) Research Methods for Technology Dissertations (20 credits) Technology Dissertation (40 credits) Business Analysis (20 credits) End User Computing Risk Management (20 credits) Social Computing (20 credits) To obtain an MSc degree a student must follow and obtain 180 credits of compulsory modules. PgC and PgD may be awarded as stand-alone or exit awards.
