Mobile technologies are a complex blend of hardware, software, network architecture and human consideration; this programme provides for a variety of careers concerned with mobile technologies, from network infrastructure and operation through to the creation of devices themselves and the systems and apps that run on them.
Applicants should have an Honours degree at least 2.2 or its equivalent in a relevant area e.g. computing; information systems or an appropriate engineering specialism.
Modules include: technology adoption; technology project management; technology legal issues; team software development project; mobile network architecture; embedded systems; mobile device software; interaction with mobile devices; research methods for technology projects.
Assessment is based on coursework; written assignments; presentations; and examination.
