The overall aim of this programme is to produce educators capable of operating at the highest levels within the educational arena, with the ability to integrate theory with practice and apply intellectual and academic rigour, informed by current educational research, to their professional context. Assessment is by coursework assignments equivalent to 6,000 words per thirty credit module throughout the taught element of the programme. The assessments take a variety of forms including written reports of research, posters, discussion postings, reflective wikis, seminar presentations and journal style articles.
If you are a practising teacher, including supply teachers if you hold qualified teacher status (schools), you may be eligible for funding from the general teaching council for wales (GTCW) funding.
