Accounting and Finance
Areas available for research include: interdisciplinary perspectives on accounting, management accounting and control, historical development of accounting, financial reporting and business communication, professions and professionalisation, accounting, auditing and finance in emerging economies, especially China, public sector accounting, asset pricing, corporate finance, empirical finance, financial econometrics, international finance, and corporate governance.
Upper 2nd class Honours degree in accounting, business, management, economics or finance, and preferably a specialist Master's degree and an interest in pursuing in-depth research in an appropriate area; where English is not 1st language, TOEFL 600 (TOEFL IBT 100), or IELTS 7.0 (writing score 7.0) is required.
