The aim of the 1st stage of the course is to provide students with a sound theoretical foundation in finance as well as the quantitative and research skills required for a successful career in finance. The 2nd semester builds heavily on the knowledge and skills acquired during the 1st semester. In particular, the 2nd semester enables students to either acquire advanced knowledge of both the areas of corporate finance and financial derivatives or to specialise in another area of finance.
An excellent 1st degree from a leading university in a highly analytical discipline such as finance, finance with economics, engineering, or physics and mathematics. Applicants whose 1st language is not English must pass IELTS/TOEFL exams, obtaining a minimum score of IELTS band 6.5 or 570 in TOEFL (230 for computer-based marking).
