The course aims to get students involved in research, the arts and the media, or employment requiring high-level skills in analysis or advanced subject knowledge.
1st or upper 2nd Class UK Honours degree or equivalent in English literature or a humanities subject. In addition copies of 2 essays on a literary topic (undergraduate essays are welcome) and photocopies of all relevant supporting documentation (eg degree certificates, transcripts) must be submitted.
Assessment methods include a 4,000 word essay (or equivalent assessment) and a 16-20,000 word supervised dissertation.
