Ethics and Social Philosophy
The programme offers postgraduate teaching in ethics and social philosophy and emphasises the enhancement of skills relevant to advanced philosophical research.
1st or upper 2nd Class UK Honours degree, or equivalent, in philosophy or a related subject. Written work is required to be submitted with the application. Additional experience may, in appropriate cases, compensate for a degree result below 2.1. Applications from non-graduates eligible for entry under Cardiff University Regulations will also be considered.
Each module is assessed by a 4000-word essay and there is a dissertation of 15000-20000 words.
