Creative and Critical Writing
This programme involves the preparation of an original piece of creative work, which can be a novel, collection of poems or short stories, and an accompanying critical text which may serve either as a critical commentary on the creative component or else a critical essay on a theme related to, if not necessarily the core subject material of, the creative work.
At least a 2.1 in English literature (and/or relevant discipline) and an MA in creative writing, English literature (and/or a relevant discipline); recent creative work of approximately 20000 words of prose; for those applicants whose 1st language is not English we require a minimum IELTS overall score of 7.0.
