The Mediatized Conflict Group
This programme aims to offer knowledge and expertise for academic research and teaching or for a career in the media and communications industries; the Mediatized Conflict Group focuses on issues such as the reporting of war, terrorism, crime and violence; it has done extensive work on crises such as the Iraq war coverage, as well as research into court reporting, prison and, particularly, sexual violence; this group also addresses issues around racism, urban conflict and global crises.
Good undergraduate degree (a 1st or exceptionally a 2.1); candidates have usually successfully completed an MA degree.
