Students explore, analyse and use existing and developing biomedical laboratory or population-related research techniques; the programme consists of 2 compulsory taught modules followed by 2 short and 1 long research project in areas of biomedical research.
A relevant science or mathematical degree (or equivalent) at 1st or upper 2nd class level.
Modules include: research skills; either laboratory methods or epidemiology; research projects: 2 concurrent 8-week projects followed by 1 26-week project.
