Research interests include: Extracellular matrix in providing tissue structure and function; Wound healing biology; Cell biology of mineralised tissues; Biomarkers of disease; Microbiology and biofilm research; Bioactive and polymeric biomaterials; Finite element analysis and biomechanical engineering.
