Foundation in Primary Care Pain Management

This module aims to provide students with an appreciation of the biopsychosocial principles involved in the experience of pain and an opportunity to evaluate clinical pain management options. It also aims to provide them with the knowledge and skills that are required to be able to evidence the competencies required for the 'Special Interest' title within their profession. However, it is appropriate for any community and primary health care professionals, that want to advance their pain knowledge.

A stand alone 20 credit masters (level 7) module for GPs and Pharmacists with a special interest in pain and primary and community health care professionals.
