Molecular and Experimental Medicine
The course facilitates basic and clinical research in overlapping specialties in cardio respiratory, metabolic and inflammatory disorders; the following research areas are of particular strength: Diabetes research group; ionic cell signalling; thyroid in health and disease; matrix biology; institute of molecular and experimental medicine; cardiovascular biology and metabolism; cardiorespiratory.
Applicants should possess a minimum of an upper 2nd Class Honours degree, Master's degree, or equivalent in a relevant subject; in some cases, a medical degree and or relevant professional qualifications are required.
