This course is designed to bring graduates with some training in psychology to the level required to meet the Graduate Basis for Registration with the British Psychological Society.

Entry requirements

Applicants should hold an upper 2nd Class Honours degree in which psychology has been taken as a main subject and which has been awarded by either a British university or any other approved university. The psychology modules must represent at least 25 per cent of the candidate�s 1st degree. Students whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.

Course modules

Areas of study include: Research dissertation; research methods; social psychology; biological psychology; cognitive psychology; abnormal psychology; developmental psychology and perception.

Assessment methods

Assessment methods include coursework and examination.
