The majority of this programme is delivered at a training programme base; students are employed in the NHS and undertake a number of clinical placements and a substantive research project; these placements are supervised by clinical psychologists working in health and social care settings across West, South and Mid Wales; students are also required to undertake clinically relevant research and submit a substantive research project.
An upper 2nd class UK Honours degree (or equivalent) in psychology or a lower 2nd class degree with strong evidence of additional academic achievement is essential; relevant clinical and/or research experience is also an essential requirement.
