Electrical Energy Systems
The programme aims to provide knowledge and expertise in power systems plant technology, power systems analysis, distributed generation and active networks.
At least an upper 2nd Class Honours degree (or equivalent) from a British or recognised overseas university. Applicants with relevant professional experience are considered on an individual basis. The course is suitable for graduates in electrical and electronic engineering, or in a relevant engineering discipline, or who have appropriate professional experience. Applicants without an engineering or applied science background should bear in mind that there are significant numerical/computational elements. Applicants whose 1st language is not English are required to pass either IELTS or TOEFL examinations with a minimum score of IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 600 (250 for computer-based test).
