Theory and Practice of Sustainable Design

This course aims to offer knowledge and expertise in sustainability as it relates to the built environment, giving a working understanding of its aims, principal concerns and techniques, at theoretical and practical levels, in global and local contexts, and across social, environmental and economic boundaries. A key feature of the course is the opportunity to work collaboratively on a live project throughout the year and as a group work towards a holistic sustainable design solution. This is a conversion course designed for graduates who want to pursue a career in this area and whose first degree was in another discipline.
