The course is offered in four pathways that are interrelated and structured around the core subject of fashion and are taught by our excellent team of technical staff and practising designers. With an ethos of guided experimentation, you will explore your individual style while being challenged to innovate to the highest standards.With an emphasis on research, and fashion awareness the course aims to produce professional and original designers ready to pursue careers, which will shape the future of the fashion industry.
An Honours degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent; relevant skills: creative ability in fashion design, textiles, knitwear design, writing skills; relevant professional experience is considered; all applicants whose 1st language is not English require: IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 all skills), or equivalent (for the fashion design pathway); or IELTS 7.0 (with a minimum of 6.0 in all skills), or equivalent (for the fashion journalism pathway).
Modules: Diagnostic and negotiated phases; independent major project.
Assessment is through independent project: developed under supervision.
There are 12 bursaries available for home/EU applicants.
