Real Estate Investment
This course is aimed at students wishing to enter or advance their careers in the fields of real estate investment management, real estate finance and the securitised real estate markets; as such, it deals extensively with the growth in the securitised real estate markets of real estate investment trusts and mortgage-backed securities; it also examines the real estate derivatives market; the course combines the rigour of a mainstream finance programme with the direct application of financial theory and techniques in a real estate context.
Good 1st degree, with some quantitative element; those without English as 1st language are required to provide further evidence of English language competence, such as IELTS or TOEFL with minimum score of 7 in IELTS, or 600 in TOEFL (250 computer-based); holders of RICS/CEM Diploma in Property Investment gain exemption from part I of the MSc course.
