This course gives students a sound knowledge of the theoretical foundations that underpin modern investment and risk management techniques; these principles are applied in practice via case studies and the use of online databases such as Bloomberg and simulators; students develop extensive expertise in a range of specialised areas such as the management of equity and bond portfolios, trading techniques, asset liability management, risk management, alternative investments, venture capital, and management of foreign exchange.
Upper 2nd Class Honours degree in any subject as well as GCSE English or equivalent in Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English, or TOEFL or IELTS; a minimum score of 7 in IELTS, 600 in TOEFL (250 computer-based) is required.
