Biomedical Engineering with Healthcare Technology Management
The course focuses on developing up-to-date biomedical technology management skills and and research and design in biomedical engineering.
A 1st or 2nd class Honours degree from a UK university or an equivalent qualification from a recognised overseas institution, in a physical science; applicants whose 1st language is not English require an IELTS of 6.5 or TOEFL (internet based) 90.
Modules include: Anatomy, physiology and pathology; clinical instrumentation; cardiovascular diagnostics and therapy; medical imaging modalities; clinical engineering practice; healthcare technology management; research skills.
Assessment is in the form of written examinations at the end of each term, and coursework assignments, which are set at various times throughout the term.
