Global Supply Chain Management
The MSc in Global Supply Chain Management is designed to provide 360º perspective of global supply chains, help assess various potential supply chain risks and provide both strategic and analytical tools to mitigate these risks, based on the most recent academic research and innovative current business practices. In addition, the course helps to develop cultural sensitivity, effective business communication, networking and time management skills.
MSc: A UK 2.1 or above, or the equivalent from an overseas institution. Some level of previous study in finance or quantitative methods is preferred. Transcript/interim transcript. Confirmation of professional qualification examinations/exemptions/passes, if applicable. Work experience is not a requirement of this course. Term 1 - Five core modules (30 hours each): Essentials of Accounting & Finance; Strategy for Delivering Value; Supply Chain Analytics I; Managing Operations; and Supply Chain Management. Term 2 - Five core modules (30 hours each): Research Design; Project Management; Global Procurement; Supply Chain Finance; and Supply Chain Analytics II. Term 3 - MSc Research Project.
The course consists of complusory core modules, as well as a choice of electives, including some international elective options in term three.
