Banking and Finance
The course is suitable for students considering embarking on a career in the rapidly developing banking and financial sectors; the course allows students to gain a deeper understanding of recent banking and financial developments from a corporate and global perspective.
Applicants should hold a good Honours degree 2.2 or above in a relevant academic discipline. Applications from candidates with relevant experience will be considered on an individual basis. International applicants should also hold a minimum of 6.5 score in the IELTS test for English language.
Stage 1: Financial statement analysis and valuation; institutional investments; corporate finance; international banking. Stage 2: Quantitative methods in finance; international financial markets; behavioural finance; corporate financial strategy; emerging markets finance; Islamic banking and finance.
