Sports and Exercise Nutrition

This course aims to enable students to develop an evidence-based approach to understanding the science of sports nutrition and the application of sport and exercise nutrition for groups and individuals. The 1st year of the course is delivered via blended learning, with the bulk of the course being delivered online. There are also several face-to-face sessions that are delivered over 4 weekends. The remaining modules do not utilise a blended learning approach, but are delivered with the Master's framework on a full or part time basis.

Entry requirements

Applicants should hold the equivalent of a 2.2 undergraduate degree in dietetics, human nutrition or sport science which include a module on physiology. Students must have studied and passed a level 3 module on nutrition. Applicants must be able to demonstrate interest, enthusiasm and continuous professional development (ideally in the field of sports nutrition). Applicants whose 1st language is not English should have an IELTS of 6.5 overall, with no component lower than 5.5. Pre-sessional English is available if required.
