Assistive Technology

This course has been designed for a wide range of graduate students or students with a specialist knowledge and/or experience of assistive technologies (AT) who can demonstrate their ability to study at postgraduate level. The course has been designed to meet a wide range of student needs in relation to AT. It offers a series of modules, each carrying a specific number of credits that make up each stage.

Entry requirements

Applicants should hold the equivalent of a 2.2 undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in technology, health or social care based subjects. Applicants with relevant work experience will be considered on a case by case basis. Applicants whose 1st language is not English should have an IELTS 6.5 overall, with no component lower than 5.5. Pre-sessional English is available if required.

Assessment methods

All modules are assessed by coursework assignments. There are no written examinations for this course.
