Neurological Occupational Therapy

Rehabilitation of patients with neurological conditions can present unique challenges even for experienced occupational therapists; this specialist qualification gives students the best possible understanding of their needs.

Entry requirements

Applicants will normally have a UK equivalent of 2.1 BSc (Hons) degree or a diploma / professional qualification in occupational therapy. Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration is required for entry. HCPC registration allows students to undertake clinical practice modules. Applicants holding a 2.2 or equivalent professional qualifications and offering relevant experience will be considered. Experience in neuro-rehabilitation or related field as a practising, professionally qualified occupational therapist or ability to demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development is desirable. Applicants whose 1st language is not English should have an IELTS 6.5 overall, with no component lower than 5.5. Pre-sessional English is available if required.
