Manufacturing Technology and Management
The MSc in Manufacturing Technology and Management develops professionals with the ability to transform knowledge into action, providing students with the breadth of both technical and business skills to make a real impact in their chosen career. The Sector Skills Council for Science, Engineering and Technologies estimates the sector needs 180,000 engineers and technicians by 2020. The rapid growth in technology also presents an opportunity for re-skilling for professionals already in industry.
1st or 2nd Class UK Honours degree in a relevant engineering or technology-based discipline, or the international equivalent of these UK qualifications.
Scholarships available (up to £5000); other funding opportunities exist, such as industrial sponsorship; for the majority of part-time students sponsorship is organised by their employers; a formal offer of a place on the course must have been received before consideration can be given for funding.
