International Executive Doctorate

The International Executive Doctorate (DBA) is a doctoral research degree, which enables senior practitioners, policy-makers and consultants to conduct valuable research on a part-time basis, over 4 to 6 years, while remaining employed. Candidates are a highly diverse group of professionals from a variety of nationalities, industries, cultures and backgrounds. DBA students join a diverse, carefully selected cohort of students from around the world. They share a desire to tackle complex, work-based challenges, a love of life-long learning and a desire for intellectual stimulation. The DBA programme is both rigorous and relevant, making it the ideal choice for developing in-depth knowledge and analytical skills, while finding new insights into specific business issues at the same time. This is evidenced by the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) which rated Cranfield's doctoral programmes as 'world-leading' in terms of scale, resourcing and quality assurance.
