The Faculty of Business and Law at De Montfort University (DMU) offers a wide range of industry-aligned postgraduate courses; which provide a platform for students to enhance their career prospects within a variety of industries through a combination of theoretical and practical learning. Our course modules are informed by the latest developments in industry to ensure students are prepared for the employment market.

Leicester Castle Business School takes an innovative approach to learning by giving high calibre students from around the world the skills needed to succeed in the 21st century.

Courses are designed with employability in mind and students will experience high levels of support and preparation for careers, challenging them to become shapers and leaders in global business.

Students will be exposed to the latest technology and new ideas, learning from world-leading academics and business figures on the postgraduate degrees offered by the business school.

Since its formation in 1989, Leicester De Montfort Law School has provided the training needs of those entering the legal profession.

The Law School offers students individual careers advice, guidance and the opportunity to be involved in pro bono work. We offer support from a friendly and caring staff team with practical experience and invaluable links with both commercial and traditional practices.

Facilities include the law school’s integrated law library, an exclusive LPC/LLM library and computer resource room.

The Faculty of Business and Law is home to a thriving research community led by researchers recognised as international leaders in their fields. When on campus, you will based in the purpose-built, £35 million Hugh Aston building. This gives you access to a range of IT labs, study suites, learning zone and a café. This flagship building also boasts a Bloomberg Trading Room, dedicated law library, and a mock courtroom.
