Sports Law

The course is delivered in London and is run in partnership with the British Association for Sport and the Law (BASL). The course has been designed for students with an interest in developing a career in sports law.

Entry requirements

You should have a good honours degree, or overseas equivalent, or an appropriate professional qualification or relevant experience in a law based subject or practical experience gained in the sports industry. If English is not your first language, an IELTS score of 6.5 (including a minimum of 5.5 in each component) or equivalent is normally required.

Course modules

Modules: Foundations of sports law and the sports regulatory regime; practice perspectives on sports law; representing the athlete/player or the sports participant in the courts.

Assessment methods

Assessment includes a 5,000 word assignment in each module.
