Business Economics and Risk Management

The course looks at understanding the economic environment as an important aspect of risk management with businesses and public organisations needing to scan, collate and integrate information from a complex and often contradictory range of sources into their decision making processes. Graduates from this course will be well placed to advise organisations on the impact of the macro-economic environment and how consideration of the micro-environment will affect their control systems. The resilience of an organisation's response to these factors will be a crucial determinant in its success.
