This course focuses on the creation of original photographic work, through traditional, experimental or electronic means. It will see you taking a considered and purposeful approach to the art of photography.

Entry requirements

A 2.2 or above UK Bachelor's Honours degree in Photography or a related subject. Applicants need to submit a portfolio of photographic work. Candidates with other professional qualifications and industry experience are considered on an individual basis. If English is not the 1st language, applicants must have an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent. English Language tuition, delivered by the British Council accredited Centre for English Language Learning, is available both before and throughout the course.

Course modules

Modules include: Research methods for creative arts practice; photographic context analysis; practical perspectives; negotiated photographic assignment; professional practice; major project.
