Management, Law and Humanities in Sport

The FIFA (Federation International de Football Association) Master's is a sports executive programme, initiated by FIFA, coordinated by the International Centre for Sport Studies (CIES), and taught by 3 European universities: De Montfort University (Leicester, UK), SDA Boccioni School of Management (Milan, Italy) and Neuch�tel University (Neuch�tel, Czech Republic); the exposure and contact with the sports industry throughout the duration of the course, offered through invited guest speakers, site visits and project work complements the theoretical side of the course, providing an overall balance and preparing postgraduates for real life challenges of working in the industry.

Entry requirements

Good Honours degree or equivalent; appropriate level of English.

Course modules

Modules cover: history of sport and its ethics and sociology; management of sport; sport organisation and governance; strategy, sport finance; sport strategic and operational marketing; sport event management; business planning; and sport leadership.

Assessment methods

Assessment is based on written exams, oral exams, project work and group presentations. The final assessment is a group project.
