Forensic Accounting

This course is designed to further students undergraduate business studies. You will become familiar with all the following areas of forensic accounting but will have speciality knowledge in one: fraud investigation; cybercrime; internal controls; assets valuation; financial crime.

Entry requirements

Applicants should have an Honours degree or overseas equivalent, in a business, accounting, finance, banking or economics-related subject; if English is not applicants 1st language, an IELTS score of 6.5 (including a minimum of 5.5 in each component) or equivalent is normally required; English language tuition is available both before and during the course if required.

Course modules

Modules include: Fraud examination and investigation; internal control and audit; cybercrime; investment valuation; financial crime and law; investment fraud; risk management; corporate governance; research methods; dissertation.

Assessment methods

Assessment includes formal lectures, tutorials, workshops, and interactive sessions.
