Our programme offers a very distinctive career entry level programme. The course is focused specifically on employability and enhancing employability skills, and will help students develop general communication and inter personal skills as well as helping to develop a personal development portfolio for use in future CV/resume and job applications by enabling students to better articulate skills, abilities and achievements. All students will be introduced to the new embedded employability hub within the business school as part of early preparation for an in company project.

Entry requirements

You should hold a good Honours degree or overseas equivalent, in any subject. Professional qualifications of equivalent standing will also be considered on an individual basis. If English is not your 1st language, an IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent is normally required. Work experience is not a requirement.

Course modules

Critical perspectives in global management; accounting for managers; operations and HRM; managing projects and business processes; enhancing business and management skills (PDP); international strategic management and markets; enhancing business and management research skills; either work/community based reflective live case study or research methodology; dissertation or in company project. 2 electives from the following: international finance; creative action in international organisations; international trade; international HRM; international marketing and ethics.

Assessment methods

Assessment is usually through a combination of individual and group work, presentations, elevator pitches, essays, reports and exams.
