Business Law (International Business Law)
This course is designed for business executives and professionals, particularly for lawyers, accountants, managers, and HR professionals; it seeks to provide students with a thorough grounding in all aspects of business law and is taught by school staff, offering extensive expertise in many specialist legal fields.
Applicants should have a good Honours degree in law or a business related subject, or an international equivalent or professional qualification; no work experience is required; if English is not the 1st language, an IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent is essential.
Business law in the UK and EU (core module); consumer law; intellectual property law; law of health and safety; company law; individual labour law; business taxation; civil liberties in the workplace; insolvency law; sale and supply of goods. Students must select the core module and at least one 30 credit module from the list above for this pathway, but may choose their remaining options from the full range of modules available across all our LLM degrees.
