Through exposure to strategic analysis, advanced marketing research and leading-edge competitive intelligence students improve their understanding of marketing in a competitive environment; this course is grounded in the latest theory and also has a strong practical element.

Entry requirements

A good Honours degree in marketing discipline, or overseas equivalent; those whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5, or equivalent.

Course modules

Core: strategic E-marketing; project management; marketing research in practice; managing advertising and communications; research methods for marketers; management study support; dissertation. two electives modules from the following: customer relationship management; direct and digital marketing; consumer culture and behaviour; creative brand strategy.

Assessment methods

Assessment is usually through a combination of individual and group work, presentations, essays, reports and exams.
