International Business and Human Resource Management

The course introduces key theories and approaches. These are followed by a selection of modules aimed at developing strategic competences in relation to the specialist area of HRM within an international framework.

Entry requirements

An Honours degree, or overseas equivalent; those whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5, or equivalent.

Course modules

Modules include: Critical perspectives in global management; operations and human resource management; international strategic management, markets and resource; accounting for managers; research methodology; strategic HRM and development; dissertation. Optional modules: international human resource management; employment relations; managing organisational change.

Assessment methods

Assessment is usually through a combination of individual and group work, presentations, essays, reports and exams.
