This programme has been developed to help entrepreneurial thinkers turn ideas into action. It could be launching your own idea, developing something in partnership, or investing in new ventures, or perhaps you want to find fresh ways to foster and harness entrepreneurial thinking in a business context. Whatever your aims, you will learn in a stimulating and enjoyable environment, guided by experienced academics.
MSc: Applicants require the equivalent of a UK 1st or upper 2nd Class Honours degree. Evidence of competence in written and spoken English if applicant's 1st language is not English, a minimum IELTS score of 7.0 (with no element under 6.0).
Core modules: Entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial process; the entrepreneur's environment; organisational behaviour; strategy; strategic marketing management or business economics and accounting; new venture creation; research methods. Elective modules include: East Asian business and management; buyer behaviour and marketing communications; global marketing; innovation and technology management; business dynamics; competitive strategies and organisational fitness; contemporary issues in entrepreneurship.
Assessment is via essays, examinations and dissertation.
