Management (International Business)
The programme is designed to introduce students initially to the broad field of business and management, before specialising in international business.
MSc: Applicants require the equivalent of a UK 1st or upper 2nd Class Honours degree. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require an IELTS score of 7.0 overall (with no element under 6.0) or equivalent.
Core modules: Business economics and accounting; organisational behaviour; strategy; strategic marketing management; global business; global marketing; research methods. Elective modules include: Business ethics 1 (ethical leadership); business ethics 2 (society and sustainability); competitive strategies and organisational fitness; corporate governance; East Asian business and management; financial management; human resource development; innovation and technology management; new venture creation; employee relations.
Assessment is via exams and dissertation and or project report.
