Management (Human Resource Management)
The programme is designed to provide you with the tools, techniques and knowledge to succeed in business. Effective management of human resources is vital to business success. The programme will develop your knowledge of human resource management and can help you prepare for a career in human resources.
MSc: Applicants require the equivalent of a UK 1st or upper 2nd class Honours degree. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require an IELTS score of 7.0 overall (with no element under 6.0) or equivalent.
Core modules: Strategy; business economics and accounting; organisational behaviour; work and society; employee relations; human resource management; research methods and dissertation. In addition, you will choose 2 electives to complement your core modules, which typically have included: Change management; human resource development; leadership; consulting; employee reward strategy and competitive strategies; organisational fitness.
Assessment is via exams and dissertation or project report.
